A Music Lover

From birth I rocked Taylor and sang to her and/or hummed her to sleep every night till about 6 years old.  Music is a big part of our lives and heritage.

Taylor loves to sing in church - she does not care who around her is looking as she likes to sing loud.  Why should we care when she is praising God anyway? At least she sings more than many adults do.

She also loves to sing in the car.  We can be driving along and all of a sudden we hear her in the backseat singing away.  Singing contents her.  Sometimes, she even makes up songs.

One year when she was 8, we gave her piano lessons.  She did pretty well, but it became a hassle so we stopped.  This year in 5th grade she starts band and wants to try the trumpet.  So this summer in August, she is going to take lessons.  She sure has the lungs for it! :)  She has the desire, now just to find the right instrument that will work for her.
